  • It is widely distributed in Central and North America. The life span on the average is 20 years.
  • Raccoons are valued for their fur, to make it more available, these animals were actively distributed in Europe by humans. Before eating, raccoons carefully rub off their food or wash it if there is water nearby, using their anterior feet. Beside food raccoons wash many other things, for example, their babies.
