  • It is distributed in the south of the Far East, in China, Japan, Korea to the south to North Vietnam;
  • Longevity can attain 25 years;
  • The turtle comes out to the dry land rarely, and to be able to breath it pushes forward out of water its long soft trunk;
  • Usually it waits for its prey, burying itself on the bottom and pushing forward only its head, or it actively swims pushing through its long nose among rocks.
