- Is found in India, Bangladesh, China up to the Malay Peninsula;
- The life span can be longer than 30 years;
- The colouration varies from black to snow-white, the pattern on the hood can be in the form of a clear ring, line, or it can be absent at all. We have the specimen of one of the rare types of colouration.
- It is considered as a not-spitting species, but the structure of the teeth does not exclude such possibility. DEATHLY VENOMOUS!
