Dear visitor! What do you think what the zoo means for a person? Certainly this is the place where you can have a good time watching funny and wonderful pretty animals. Unfortunately despite the fact that the mankind has made great progress in science and technology by the 21-st century the zoos are perceived by most people just as wild beast shows! And yet, in ancient China the zoos which were founded one thousand years ago and were among the first ones were called “Gardens of Sense”. And it’s not in vain because one can learn a lot of new things about the wonderful world of animals, discover much new without putting much efforts. The more often one visits the zoo the more discoveries will be made. The significance of the zoo for learning animals consists in the fact that you are in close neighborhood with the live creatures and you can easily watch their habits and behavior, here you can see what you would fail to notice during the long years of patient observation in nature. In the wild most animals are shy and reserved, but the zoo workers got used to consider visitors its friends and animals behave quite naturally in your presence. It’s extremely important to go to the zoo as often as possible and not to grudge the time, by watching the animals you’ll get surprised what interesting observations you can make! Our zoo works out and carries out excursions in different topics adapted for different ages. Some animals can come to see You and our lecturers will tell you about them and show their features. Another very interesting form of interaction with children is quizzes. This form is especially pleasant for children due to the fact that they get prizes for the lessons. In warm seasons a contact zoo is open for You, there you can not only watch but also stroke and feed animals. Besides our museum offers night theatrical excursions during which you not only watch the night behavior of animals but also participate in fortunetelling, games, quizzes and many other activities.
