For young people

Night events are visits to the exotarium at the time when conventional museums are already closed for visitors but we can witness the most interesting things at our musem. Most of our nurslings start “their days” at night, that’s why they become active along toward evening. Our visitors get a unique chance to watch the behavior of nocturnal-habit animals and sometimes even see them eat, flirt, copulate, in general, see them live up to the hilt. We can also organize theatrical subject excursions aimed at turning people’s attention to the characteristics of animals’ lives and behavior (for example, “The Terrors from Animals’ Lives”, “To What Extent Our Ancestors Were Superstitious, to What Extent We Are Superstitious”, “Our Dumb Animals’ Love”). Besides our visitors can participate at cheerful contests, draws and trials.

The Vampire and The Wise Sorceress will help You to understand Yourself and Your future
"Halloween or Spend the Night at the Fear’s Arms".

This event excited not only children but also grown-ups. It was aimed at changing people’s prepossession to some charmless animals at first sight, that is, at triumphing over their fear. Many people even could let their hands into the shadow, into the so called “The Wall of Fear” behind which there were cockroaches, snakes, frogs and many other species which are rather untouchable but not so frightful in reality. But some people didn’t have enough courage to stroke a huge harmless varan named Adam which was walking along the rooms next to the visitors. To create a fabulous atmosphere and maintaining the holiday spirit the guides wore costumes of a Pumpkin, Vampire, Ghost, Witch, Zombie, Death and other devilry and were brilliant in playing their roles and visitors often played along with them.

Creatures of the holiday help to conquer fear, disaffection and prejustice
"Christmastime or Learn All about You and Your Future at Our Animals".

Christmastime is the time for fortunetelling and people’s festivals. In the Russian tradition the Christmastime has always been connected with the animals and rampancy of the devilry to which people often addressed for divination. During this event all our visitors returned to the past and felt the life of our ancestors, learned about the Russian devilry and, of course, read fortunate … on cockroaches, toads, frogs and others. Baba-Yaga (Old-Witch), Kikimora (Moor Witch) and Likho (Hobgoblin) together with their friends told how superstitious our ancestors were and how superstitious we remained. It was them who helped to clear up the future and gave a cue how to make a cockroach give a divination. And, of course, the visitors watched the life of our nurslings which were much more active at night; learned what it is to feel a big owl flying over your head in the obscurity; heard the real night ghosts, i.e. geckos, singing out. But the main thing is that young people talked to some nurslings personally, without the glass and learned everything about the process of our animals feeding.

"Temptation Secrets from Snakes".

The lovers’ day of or St. Valentine’s Day is a holiday when people congratulate their halves and when people rejoice because they are together and, of course, everyone tries to have a good time. Animals do not celebrate this holiday because they have holidays every day. We offer grown up Tula citizens and guests of the city to dive into the atmosphere of the holiday in the most uncommon ambience in company of the animals-professionals which can teach a lesson everyone. The heroes of the holiday, Aphrodite, Juliet, Saint Valentine and others, will help to take in the hot peculiarities of the cool-blooded love of snakes, frogs, toads, dragons, crocodiles, turtles and many others. And our dumb animals will show this. Some terraria offer too steamy love scenes that’s why no children under 14 are allowed to watch them.

And. of course, our visitors will never forget:

  • our joyful draws, holiday games and amusements;
  • What reptile is meant for them as the intended one;
  • What animal they remind in love;
  • The moment when one married a pig the “Matrimonial Agency at the Mother-in-Low”;
  • And the main thing, the experience one gained here.
Our holiday begins at the gate, where you are met by our reincarnated dinosaur
